The relationship allows Marina Biotech use of Beth Israel's IACUC certified vivarium.

Marina Biotech works closely with Patrice Courvalin, M.D. who is Head of the Antibacterial Agents Unit at Pasteur where he directs the French National Reference Center for Antibiotics. The scientific expertise and reputation of the Pasteur has played a key role in the acceptance, by regulators and the medical community, of the safety of Marina Biotech's tkRNAi platform.

Research collaboration in the area of bladder cancer using the tauRNAi platform. The VPC is a National Centre for Excellence for translational research and this relationship provides Marina Biotech with access to cutting-edge bladder cancer models and evaluation techniques and interactions with world-renowned researchers and clinicians.

Research collaboration for the discovery of peptides to deliver siRNA. The relationship involves the screening of Marina Biotech's patented phage display library for the identification of peptides to target delivery to particular tissues or organs for a given disease.
